With DWW seemingly having moved on to a more erotic style many fans myself included are missing those boxing bouts which were such a feature over the years.

At this time of the year we are either going on holiday,or like me have been. Greece is in a fix with it's finances and I did think that if it's holiday complexes were to put on entertainment like this the bookings would possibly go up.

A question often posed by fans is how do they get their girl interested in taking part?I don't know if DWW used arm wrestling as a method,but I've always thought it a good starting point and well worth watching.

My thanks to friends at the Yahoo group dedicated to Swish Publications of yesteryear. From time to time they come up with classic pics and articles and this is one.I had mentioned before that Vickie Montrose had fought a boxing bout at Beacholme Holiday Park in Cleethorpes and asked if there had been anymore bouts at that time. Guess what someone came up with this report from the 70s of Vickies bout with Kerry Nolan.    

Jeff the Ref makes the introductions for the girls of the German Mat Club. These bouts took place in November 1988,so again you may ask where are these girls now?It's rather interesting that one girl should end in tears as this was one of the things the U.K.press picked up on when German girls took part in bouts in London.Despite the fact that I and a number of other fans contacted them to explain the tears were of frustration at having lost their bout.
