Oktoberfest 2019

My mention of a visit to Oktoberfest as brought me a lot interest from those who have never been and if they watch the celebrations here no doubt it will be added to their bucket list.

I should point out though that it can be more than a little expensive a Stien of beer(1 LITRE)

cost me between 11 and 12 euro and the cheapest way to eat was in one of the tents that do a lunchtime special for 10 euro.

The one thing missing for me was something that years ago drew huge crowds

to the beer halls of Munich and that was the girls boxing.

Munich was of course where the girls of LGIS(Liberal Girls International Sport) started out in 1976.
