More spirited action from Canada,"Beauty Slammers"apparently was a tour that visited a number of venues. For the sake of the promoter and the girls I would hope the attendances were better elsewhere.
In the wrestling world a bout with little or no rules was known as all in. This as to be the catfight equivelant where all parts of the body come under attack.
I know that the business as been hit hard in the U.K.in recent times, but this came as something of a shock to see so few fans here. Those who stayed away missed a terrific show from two girls who put everything into their bout.
Last weekend saw the girls from the East Midlands lace on the gloves for charity. Not just the odd bout but a full show. Where did they find so many girls?
I have noted many times that the number of films which featured or were based on female fights was at it's high point from around the mid 60s to the mid 80s. Good, bad and indifferent we start with 1978's Debbie does Dallas. From 1970 the Kremlin Letters. The year of 69 brought us Hells Tattoers, now how did they come up with that title? Last and not in order of preference is Sadomania from 1981.
I have often been a little critical of the London Wrestling Studio for not going topless. For me there is little worse than a girl taking time out any number of times during a bout to adjust her bra. So I am pleased to see this offering produced for our friends at the Sex Wrestling Zone.
The promoters of this bout were the Welsh Wrestling Organisation who I believe ceased to operate around 2010,but the girls are still around and if this high energy bout is typical are well worth going to see. Both come from Cardiff and while Becky, often billed as Rebecca as had a change of look Nadia often billed as Nadia Sapphire maintains the cheerleader look.
Despite the supposed rivalry of C.C. v B.B.they were apparently good friends and this from the 1971 film The Legend of Frenchie King is still highly rated as a cinema catfight.
I have to admit to having only seen short clips from Catz Review, but give credit to them for this.I am only guessing that this was an early release as most of the clips I have seen of late took place in a ring.
I have often mentioned fans who have been in contact, some have had their wives pics on here and all wanted to know the best way to get their wives to fight. This latest post is from Prudetube and is the work of a guy giving his own brand of advice. Looking at the name he uses to post it would tend to suggest he comes from the Glasgow area of Scotland where the girls don't need much persuading to fight. As anyone taken his advice and did it work?
This must be a variation on the old Elvis hit"Kissing Cousins"here they were persuaded to put on the gloves and fight.Credit where it's due they certainly put on a show.
Soap operas have often been the vehicle for catfights, from Dallas to Dynasty and beyond, but for me one of the classics is still from th U.K.soap Emmerdale with Roxanne Pallet and Sammy Winward. In many ways this as everything including the mud for fans of that gender.
New names with proven track record are always welcome on the scene. Well known to most fans is Nadedge from Belgium, but who thought of the groups title? And are they based in the States or here in Europe? Not to worry, looking forward to seeing more of American Belgian Women's Fighting in the future.
