SAD NEWS!!! My ex returned from Liverpool the other day with sad news that one of the pioneers of the revival in wrestlings fortunes Doc Dean had died at the age of 48. Among tributes was one from Klondyke Kate(Jayne Porter) who I hadn't realised was the mother of one of his children Adam and I believe as started fund raiser to return his body to his Liverpool birthplace from his home in the USA. Latest update I could find was some days ago where the fund had reached a required total of around £8.500 and had been closed. RIP Ian Doc Dean!!!

Saturday the 8th of October sees Nicola Adams return to the ring in a contest for the interim WBO Super Featherweight Title against the experienced Mexican Isabel Millan 33 years old with 22 wins 4 losses and a draw on her record. The fight takes place at the Leicester Arena and a win would put Nicola in line to challenge Germany's Raja Amesheh 36 years old with just 1 loss and a draw from from 23 contests quite possibly in Germany's home of female boxing Karlsruhe.
