A fan in Brighton got in contact to ask if I could find any reference to the for runner of Amazons in Action magazine of years back. So my thanks go to Angie who appeared in one edition for this pic of the front cover of Womens Wrestling Vol1 No1. Someone may be able to recall just how many editions of this were ever published,as it seems only a short time later that I saw my first copy of A.I.A.

I Know it's many a fans dream to get his girl to to take part in one of these contests.But would she?And could you watch if she started to take a beating????

I have to give credit for innovation  to the promoter,who else would have thought of setting up the ring in a local street?

Simone Sides is well known for Catfights but here she helps out for her husband,giving advice to Layla and Sahara in his production on Catfight Great Britain. I thought when the fight started that it may be a little tame,I was wrong and with encouragement from Simone the girls put on a good show.

Sad news out of Germany,the long time champion of womens boxing as gone broke. Under it's founder Klaus-Peter Kohl it had promoted many champions including Ina Menzer. In 2011 Peter decided to retire and sold out to Waldemar Kluch who it would appear still owes Herr Kohl some of the money,beside having run up a debt of €3 million in a short space of time. For many of the twenty eight years Herr Kohl headed the promotion he had contracts with tv stations,it would appear Herr Kluch was unable to maintain these valuable contacts.

A great favourite from the DWW ranks is Zsuzsa seen here in action for FWZ in London,not sure who her opponent is but on this occasion the trade mark breast smother didn't work.

A question often posed by fans in the U.K.is where do I find live action with regard to M.M.A.and similar combat??Where pro wrestling seems to be well represented throughout the country action in this other popular field seems to center on small pockets in places you wouldn't expect.
