FEMFIGHT EUROPE.

A girl who was a great favourite with Karl in Germany was Susanne she of the pale skin and almost boyish figure.My thanks to him for pointing out these clips of bouts she fought in the U.S.against the coloured girl Lee Ann and the tanned bodied Toni.

I have had a number of requests to feature more of these fights because like me many fans in Europe still find it hard to imagine where these girls were found and what is their background.I know many are what is commonly known in the States as trailer trash and many have drug problems.But surely some would only have fought to supplement the family budget.There could be a market for such a fight club in the current market where many familys are strapped for cash.

It's a little hard to believe now but many years ago fans would have to set up the the camera and screen,load up the 8mm film just to watch the latest offering from the likes of California Supreme.Younger fans don't realise how lucky they are,now if the wife doesn't approve and you are watching a dvd a simple flick of the switch when she comes in and you are back on the local news channel.

There haven't been too many films about the female boxing scene so Blonde Fist a few years back as become almost a classic.Starring scouse actress Margi Clarke this fight scene when viewed recently had a friend of mine take a look at her opponent and question,was it the London parks gardener and Festelle favourite Susi Catkins(Atkins)?

This bout comes from a WWC meet of some years back(look at the girls ages)and reminded me of a chat I had with a fan here in the UK a little while back. We had first met some years back when we used to cheat and swap our old vhs videos over a drink in the pub next door to the Swish Publications shop in London's Soho(what did they call that pub?)and having read an article in AIA he set about saving enough cash to get to the States and attend the next one.Sadly that event for some reason never took place and some years past before another,leaving my friend with a few pounds to spare which the little lady in his life invested wisely for him.Since then both he and I have wondered about the reasons why WWC didn't become a regular event,possibly some one at that side of the pond will be able to help us.

In the background you can here male voices,surely they aren't their husbands and boyfriends encouraging them to do each other damage.After this fight I would doubt either girl would want to be mauled by the turned on man beast.
