WHERE ARE THEY NOW???

Image
Older fans may recall that day years ago when the girls of LGIS came to London and took part in a number of"public"contests. One of the girls who volunteered to take part was a girl from Scotland Jo Mc Namara at the time 25 years old and 5'7" weighing in at 130lbs. I believe she took part in two contests one against Angie Simons and the other against Heidi Ranke. The question is where is she now?And what are her thoughts on that night looking back now?

KASSIDY V LINA

Image
It's not too often you see Kassidy matched against a worthy opponent, most are beaten by the size of size of the girl and although Lina puts up a good show she is no match in the end.

DO YOU KNOW THE ANSWER?

Was this the first,or perhaps only time that the Black Sea Amazons took part in a public contest???

A MIRACLE.

Saturday is a day not to be missed for fans of boxer Rola El-Halabi who on the 1st of April 2011 was shot in her dressing room by her step father prior to her bout with Lucia Morelli.A result of which saw her confined to a wheel chair and enduring five operations leaving doubt that she would walk again. The miracle is complete on Saturday when she faces Miss Morelli for the WIBA Lightweight Title at the Ratiopharm Ulm Arena at 22.30 local time. Just as shocking is that Rola's step father was only sentenced to six years in prison, this despite having also shot two security guards at the same time.

A SPOT OF FORCES COMBAT.

TWO OF THE UKs BEST.

Well worth the admission money and the odd gallon of petrol have got to be these two, seen here appearing in Stoke on Trent. April Davids trained by Pipa L'Vinn in Manchester the tiny 5'1"pocket battle ship takes on Jenny Sjodin who despite being a native of Sweden is a great favourite around British halls.
