I know from the coments I have had over a period of time that I was not alone in finding the Swish Publications outlet in Londons Soho an oasis of delight in an almost barren desert for fans of female combat.I would doubt that Iam alone in saying that my first VHS Video purchase was on the basis of a report I had read in Amazons in Action. So it was with great delight that I found a fans group on Yahoo dedicated to those Swish offerings of the time,not just AIA,but Fighting Gals Monthly and Claws.My own favourite was AIA mainly because it dealt with the real thing as opposed to Claws and sometimes FG which tended to go down the road of fantasy.I for one was never sure on what issue number any of these mags ceased publication because there arrival in Swish's own outlet in London,let alone anywhere out of the metropolis was to say the least very unpredictable.AIA became a quarterly and FG was supposedly a monthly. It is no secret that I was a great fan of the two girls from South Yorkshire Becky and Anita,any video featuring them be it wrestling or boxing was topnotch value for money.Add a little internation flavour in the shape of the lovely Sussana from Austria and you have a tape that stands the test of time to this day.Both girls were tested to the full in these bouts and having not seen the original tape or been in attendance at the shooting I have no idea as to the results.Perhaps someone out there can provide the answer.

These couple of clips were sent to me by a longstanding fan of female combat who I recall meeting some years back at Swish Publications shop in Londons Soho.In those days we used to conduct almost sinster meetings in a pub around the corner,for no other reason than to exchange the VHS tapes we had recently bought.Yes I have always been mean!! The reason for these clips is he picked me up on how the best days on the scene were those of the late 70s and 80s.He is in full agreement with me but sent me these clips as a reminder of how far the scene as come from when these were recorded,possibly the 60s?Yes he is right,just imagine the coment if girls now were to fight in high heels.
