SOME ONE ENLIGHTEN ME!!!

I have mentioned a number of times how much fans here in the UK miss the live shows put on by Festelle and others and more than once I have been advised that with all the laws relating to health and safety, insurance and the like, such show are no longer a proposition. So I am a little bemused to see the kind of show featured here taking place in the States where we are told the compensation culture came from. So,someone please enlighten me,is it a case like many laws made up by the EU of lets just ignore it?Or are there an army of government officials going round daily doing risk assessment at lots of underground venues where these bouts are taking place.

AN EARLY FAVOURITE.FIONA.

I doubt that I am alone in the more senior fans when I recall going to the Swish Publications Shop in London to purchase my first Festelle Video.Like many more fans one of the earliest purchases featured a lovely girl with a background in judo,Fiona. As a reminder of those days these couple of clips feature her in her trade mark shiny black briefs against Sally and the blonde Lou.

QUIZ 2.

Another couple of clips to test the memory of many an avid fan.If nothing else can you even remember where you first saw these fights? Was it at your local cinema when the film was first released?Or did you have to wait till it appeared on tv?Fans in other countries will possibly not have realised that wall to wall films is only a fairly recent thing here in the UK,before the arrival of Sky TV you could often wait years for a film to appear on the small screen.

THE ANSWER.

Since I first mentioned the mags that were a must for many fans here in the UK a few years back I have had a number of requests for info by younger fans as to the look and content of those mags they are searching ebay and old book stores for. The most important in my mind was Amazons in Action,at the time a wonderful source of knowledge for fans who liked their action in it's purest form. The copy shown here is no.90,sadly I don't know wether this was the last ever copy published. The other two Claws and Fighting Girl Monthly despite the promising front cover were more appealing to the fantasy market as only a small amount of space was given to genuine action.Indeed to even call any of these publications a monthly or in the case of AIA a quarterly is in itself a joke,in order to find when a new copy was out a network of friends had to often be used, one of whom would have close proximity to the company shop in Soho. The other problem was for fans resident in the more northerly pa

ENJOYED BY ALL AGES.

Two of DWWs more mature girls are Edita and Laila showing that the enjoyment of a fight is not just for the teens.

ANOTHER POSER.

From the sixties tv show The Girl From Uncle comes what is known as the harem fight,I have solved half the poser in that the girl from uncle was Stefanie Powers who played April Dancer. But who was the girl she was fighting?Stefanie Powers of course went on to be one half of the husband and wife team Hart to Hart in the eighties.

ANOTHER FOR THAT FAN.

At least one fan was thrilled by Luzia's silver one piece and the way it rode up,so here she is again.Though not revealing quite as much as before.
