I have mentioned before the Yahoo Group devoted to Swish Publications who brought us such memorable magazines such as Amazons in Action.That mention brought a coment from one young whipersnapper wanting to know more of the good old days(his words not mine).He brought up the subject because after my mention of AIA he had managed to obtain a couple of copies and wanted to know more of those halcyon days. For myself AIA was the mag that largely kept me in touch with the scene,though I often found trying to buy it anywhere to the north of London almost impossible and the dates it was due out was also rather difficult to follow. The clip featured here I recall was featured in the odd picture and from memory was one of the first times I heard mention of the Danube Women,now such a major part of the scene.My copy was mainly bought from the Swish Shop in Soho,indeed in the early days there were two such shops,the earliest I seem to recall was in Greek Street and demolished as part of a redevel

The darker haired girl in this sweaty bout is Terry Vixen who appeared a number of times for TPC,but on seeing this clip one fan would be interested to know was she the same girl who worked in the Swish shop around this time?I have to admit that from memory she does bear a striking resembelence.Does anyone know the answer?

I have often wondered of late are the Black Sea Amazons still producing fights?I ask because it seems some time since DWW released any new material from them. I mention some time back that with cash being a little tight it may be a good idea to arrange for the lady of the house to take on a fight in another part of the world in order to pay for this years holiday,when viewing this clip it does occur to me that possibly she would not thank you for arranging for her to take on one of these girls.

Adding some spice to a black v white clash is a little international rivalry when Sassinna from Sweden took on the UKs Trixie.This was another one that always made me wonder how did Festelle find these girls?Someone did say that Jeff the Ref was sent out to trawl the tourist hot spots of London offering pretty girls cash to take part in these bouts.
