HOW IT WAS?? During the three months locked away with my ex we watched a show about the early origins of street fighting going back to the mid eighteen hundreds where both men and women fought. This reminded my ex of a time far more recent and nearer to home,like many women at the time her mother worked in a Lancashire cotton mill where probably due to the large numbers employed at the time disagreements often happened and these would be settled in the mill yard at lunch time.
