THE ANSWER.

Since I first mentioned the mags that were a must for many fans here in the UK a few years back I have had a number of requests for info by younger fans as to the look and content of those mags they are searching ebay and old book stores for.
The most important in my mind was Amazons in Action,at the time a wonderful source of knowledge for fans who liked their action in it's purest form. The copy shown here is no.90,sadly I don't know wether this was the last ever copy published.
The other two Claws and Fighting Girl Monthly despite the promising front cover were more appealing to the fantasy market as only a small amount of space was given to genuine action.Indeed to even call any of these publications a monthly or in the case of AIA a quarterly is in itself a joke,in order to find when a new copy was out a network of friends had to often be used, one of whom would have close proximity to the company shop in Soho. The other problem was for fans resident in the more northerly parts of the UK who for one reason or another were unable to have their copy delivered by mail.Short of a long and expensive journey to London it was often many months,if at all their mag got to shelves in their area.
Rather strangely your local newsagent would stock Fiesta,Escort and all other variety of soft porn, but not AIA.OH HAPPY DAYS!!!!
