EUROPES MOST LIBERAL.

Is Germany the most liberal minded with regard to female combat?Without doubt in Europe the answer is yes,to refer back to things which appear on mainstream tv this bout comes from DFS Germany's sports channel. In order to view the like here in the UK you would have to purchase it on dvd,or if you were lucky a subscription to a porno channel may just surfice.

  1. I expected something a lot more X-rated than this (which was never even considered like that here in America).

You're telling us 'Murkins that to see this type of fem wrestling show -- GLOW (and we also had its sister show, POW) -- in the UK you'd have to buy a DVD or see it on adult channels ? ...

I mean no disrespect, but has Her Majesty's Government retrogressed to the Dark Ages ? ...

These programs were shown here in 'Murkinland on mainstream telly and no doubt were seen as entertaining, family-viewing fare.

What was so objectionable in the UK about these shows ? ...

There's no nudity, too-revealing attire, adult language, sexual activities, suggestions or other raw material.

I like the UK very much (been there 3 times) but if this material was restricted from being shown there that's the real news to me.

  2. I have to agree with Klaus on this one,it may surprise Panther but the problem in the UK would appear to be with females fighting.During the years it was published I could only buy my copy of AIA in London and yet the main stream newsagents in my home town had on their shelves Playboy,Fiesta,Escort and the like.
As for TV my part of Lancashire produced one of Europes most succesful female boxers and any number of wrestlers. How often do you see them featured on TV?Rarely if ever!!!
Klaus as on occasion featured clips of female pro wrestling in the UK,many of these have come from an obscure Welsh language channel only shown in Wales.
