NOSTALGIA!!

For fans of a certain age a little nostalgia,remember Rusty Blair from Blairgowrie in Scotland???Probably her most success was when she took her talents to North Wales and appeared as a regular on Channel 4 Wales regular wrestling shows.An event in itself as even to this day female wrestling is rarely seen on UK mainstream TV.

Her opponent in many bouts was local girl Nicky Monroe,the bout here is from around 1985 and shows just how hard the girls worked in those days.I am told both girls still live in the Rhyl area and one of the photos of Nicky was taken only last year at the Northern Wrestling Reunion in Leeds.Still a good looking woman!!!
