A WELCOME ATTRACTION
On a recent visit to Ireland a friend of mine came by a new tourist attraction,womens pro boxing.
A visit to the National Basket Ball Arena in Dublin found him watching Christina McMahon of Monaghan take on Stephanie Ducastel of Strasbourg in an eight times two minute rounder,which proved to be her 4th win from four starts.
The shame is that Miss McMahon is Ireland's only female pro boxer and at thirty eight years of age is unlikely to clock up a vast number of contests.

I'm not a boxing fan and, yes, there are limits (true for everyone) but if there's anything I've learned about women's athletic accomplishments in the 21st century regarding age it's:
Never say unlikely and never say never.
