There are some things that because you live so close to them you don't notice.

I was reminded of this when talking politics on the phone with my friends in Germany they mentioned that while they were in Scotland recently they learned that the leader of the Scots Conservatives Ruth Davidson was not only a lesbian,but also a kick boxer.

With little knowledge of politics in the U.K.they wondered what would most hold her back when looking for votes in Scotland?I would hazard a guess at being a Tory!!!
