Fans in the U.K.may remember the tv show fronted by Judith Charmers.
I doubt she ever reported on these kind of activities on the Balearic Island of Ibiza.
Indeed the Danube Girls spent more than one holiday there and as a fairly regular visitor to the island at the time I often wonder where these bouts took place?
Any ideas guys?
No ... but I'm just grateful, appreciative and sure as hell glad they did ...
ReplyDeleteAs an aside thought, I was curious to know where this island is. So I now know why it was chosen. It's basically a utopian, paradise island just east of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. So it has terrific, year-round climate with superb communities, beaches and environment ... and thus an excellent choice. (... and thanks, BTW, for that extra bit of geographical data: meaning that it's in the group of islands called The Balearic Islands).
Anytime there are any planned events of similar female wrestling or competitive endeavors over there, I'd always be grateful to know about them.
