Donna Marie in the early 90's prior to departing for Australia did a Radio 4 interview in which she exposed wrestling as fake.

In the year 2000 now married with two children she revived her career as a promoter forming Melbourne Wrestling Promotions with it's first show on the 16th of September 2000 the night after her husband was murdered.

For her part in arranging her husbands murder she was jailed for 23 years,her motive,her husband was worth around a million Australian Dollars in life insurance.
