I'm Back!!!!
Great week away,shame about the weather.Met up with a few old friends while in Germany so have a bit more on the past and present scene to relate.
For the benefit of those who have never been this is the cable car that goes across the river Rhine.Pretty scary in high winds and rain.
A Big Welcome back ... Glad both of you had a Well-deserved, Refreshing and Enjoyable time ... Sorry 'bout the weather but judging from the photos It appears you took in some great views ...
ReplyDeleteIn the U.S., in some of our national parks, we also have similar modes of transportation ... for example, in the state of Colorado, we have the Royal Gorge with a tremendous suspension bridge and tramway over the river ... looks a bit nerve-racking if you're seeing someone on the bridge or tramway over the river but it's really quite safe (and a hell of a view looking outward and downward) ... If you ever get a chance to visit that area of the U.S., I'd highly recommend it ...
