DTL had a bit of an issue with conservatism that you're noting with prude tube regarding intensive microscopic scrutiny leading to its dismissal. DTL turned into other names some of which you mentioned above. Your board FCF link mentioned of a cute blonde and her participation during the Inland Empire days. Dee was always a hothead though seemed most of the time her competitors fixed that with a few armbars or long frustrating scissors / embarrassing rolled up cradle pins to get her angry. I would put the DTL in category of other clubs that knew how to use actual transitions / holds.
