A GREAT WEEKEND.

What is it with the kill joys after a weekend that lifted spirits in the U.K.where a Royal Wedding proved a great attraction to the many the moaning minnies and republicans come out in force with moans about the cost of security etc.

Yes the security cost money,but the police and forces would have been paid anyway be it at the wedding or chasing Muslim extremists or knife gangs through the streets of London.

Many had a moan about members of the brides family arriving in London and trying to get freebies from any media outlet willing to listen to their far fetched tales about the bride who in many cases they had not seen for many years.Sad fact you can't pick your relatives!!!

What few seem to have noticed is the effect the wedding can have on U.K.tourism having been beamed live to all parts of the World.

Indeed friends of mine in Germany enjoyed fantastic coverage streamed to their homes.
