A good blog to follow for anyone who understands German or uses google translate is that of dauerblog.de this is interesting as it features a girl from East Germany at a gym in Hamburg in the summer of 1989 shortly before the fall of the Berlin Wall.

On the 14th of January the guy suffered a heart attack and was fitted with a pace maker at the hospital in Rostock.I did wonder how this would affect his blogging but the hero that he is managed to record most of that day only stopping short of the surgery itself.A friend of mine as already expressed our wishes for a speedy recovery and I hope many more fans will do the same.
