MADNESS OR WHAT???

Just when you thought life in the UK couldn't get any dafter you get quarantined and tv is taken up with people demonstrating.

All over the UK we had small groups of Extinction Rebellion blocking roads so ambulances couldn't get through in the name of saving the planet and the day after they block off delivery of newspapers because they don't agree with their views.

Saturday saw the main road into Dover almost at a standstill because a group of people don't agree with the invaders crossing the English Channel claiming to be asylum seekers when in fact they are economic migrants.

Possibly a just cause so why start fighting police in order to get arrested?Did it do any good?

WISHING.

My ex spoke the other day with a friend of hers in Germany who had taken on her husbands wishes and got in the boxing ring.It should be pointed out that she had wrestled a number of times but he had often asked if she would give boxing a go.

I can recall advising someone in the UK to be careful what he wished for and this proved another such case,in the week or so before the bout her husband was having doubts and asking did she really want to go ahead,infact by the day he was almost begging her to back out fearing for her safety,the bout went ahead over three two minute rounds and was declared a draw,his wife had enjoyed every minute despite a bruised face and a drop of blood from her nose,as for the old man apparently he was physically shaking with every punch that landed.

Lesson learned???
