WHAT BECAME OF LEONIE?

I have made mention before of my inability to find what the truth was about the scandal in Belgium when Beatrice Goffin was raided by police among allegations of under age girls.One of the worst things about the whole thing was the loss of some of the girls who fought for Beatrice.One who proved to be a great favourite when she visited the UK was Leonie seen here in action against Chrissie.Did she just give up the sport?Or was she too hauled off by the police?

One thing that came out of the whole affair was that it killed the scene in Belgium.Even to this day it does not appear to have recovered,despite a few rather low key attempts to revive it.Perhaps it as been driven underground,possibly our friend in Belgium can tell us the answer!!!
