LESSON 2.

Lesson 2 features Paula and Audrey, when starting out do not expect your girl to get into a real violent catfight, remember the object of a wrestling match is to obtain a pinfall or submission and this can be done in a sporting manner without the loss of temper.

GERMANY'S GOLDEN YEARS.

In the days before LGIS became the Munich Wildcats and resorted to having fights in someones kitchen there was a golden period where they put out some prettyu good fights.

FAVOURITES***SANDRA WRESTLING.

Fans earliest sightings of Sandra were in wrestling bouts,in this one she took on Louise, she of the "blonde hair"who also featured in the tag matches against those two girls from Brighton.I know that as time went by Festelle's reputation grew but Sandra featured in some very early offerings. How did a girl from Bolton come to be fighting for a London based outfit?

FESTELLE FAVOURITES***SANDRA BOXING.

One of the earliest favourites in the Festelle camp was Sandra, reputedly from Bolton now a part of Greater Manchester.Sandra first caught my eye as a more than capable boxer,in these clips she gets the better of Susan and gives a real beating to Giovanna. In the final clip, which Ibelieve was the last time she put on the gloves she takes on Sue Catkins from the pro curcuit in a non topless match.

THOSE HALCYON DAYS.

Image
Going back to the day when the girls of LGIS came to the UK reminded me of the halcyon days before political correctness gripped the world and the fight fan could attend live action in many parts of Europe.During those days I was unable to attend Festelle events due to the dates always falling when Iwas away in Germany, but I was lucky in that I managed to attend a few LGIS events in that country. Around this time was when my ex became a more than interested party after attending a couple of shows with me.Although she only ever fought one of the LGIS girls, mainly due to her lack of experience, she did say she would have loved to have fought Lena Sorenson. In mentioning this I refer back to a point I have made many times, the atmosphere at live events.View the old clips of Festelle in that smokey room,or LGIS in the beer kellars of Germany and you can almost imagine yourself there.Do the young fans of today realise what they missed????

THAT GARDEN.

Image
Like many fans I had a great affection for that garden which hosted everything from catfights to boxing.I know that recently DWW have returned there but somehow without the original girls it would appear to have lost a little bit of it's magic quality.Watching Monika and Clara in combat here revives many of those memories.

AND AGAIN.

Image
Yes it's that garden again this time by request(my own).Happy memories of Laila and Edita fighting for supremacy on the grass.

A SLIGHT CONTRADICTION???

Image
A news item that will have escaped fans in the UK and will just as likely shock them comes with this item from Boxgirls International in Berlin. Here in the UK any number of government ministers have come up with solutions to anti social behaviour, something which in the last few years as even manifested itself in girls.Something that no doubt UK politicians would be opposed too is girls taking part in boxing.Where Box girls in Berlin have had more than a small amount of success,so much so that they are nominated for an award from Beyond Sports an organisation for social reunification. Now here is the biggest shock one of the supporters of Beyond Sport is non other than our former PM Tony Blair.I am sure his left footed supporters would suitably horrified!!!!!
