BLACK v WHITE 22.

As always frantic action from Black Diamond and Lisa.

MORE MEMORIES OF AIA.

From my first mention of the magazine AIA fans of a certain age have been asking if I could find video clips of certain items and companies which were featured. One of the easiest request to fulfill was the work Judelle du Long of Camp Amazon fame, thanks to the efforts of Rockin Roxanne who as managed to resurect much of the early work. The filming does not stand comparison in the modern digital age but is still interesting when you see again such greats as the lovely blonde Liz Miles,Laurie Hatch and in a clip from 1979 Judelle herself taking on her star pupil Nancy Skravan.I have often wondered if a third generation of the Du Long family have followed their Gran and mothers into the wrestling game.

UNDECIDED.

Not for the first time I am undecided on the work of Catz Club UK/NWLC.I would love to hear from anyone who as purchased any of their recent work.Beside the fact that they only produce from time to time, they now appear to have lost any sense of direction, from the extremes of clothes ripping catfights things seem to have degenerated to a form of wrestling at times fought in what looks like a bath used for mud wrestling.

THE NOVICES.

I have to admit that the introduction of a new girl to the game is to say the least often difficult.A girl may have no problem with bearing her breasts, but have little idea of what wrestling entails. And in the case of Festelle the whole thing was done before a live audience. So they have to be given great credit when bringing together the likes of Jessica and Sylvie in what I believe was only the second bout for both girls.

EARLIER TIMES.

Before they set out in a search for the sun Fighting Style produced a very watchable product in Germany.Cindy and Jacqueline seen here put on good show without the benefit of the sun on their backs.

AIA CONTINUED.

AIA also gave us an insight into the pro wrestling game in the UK with these two girls often featured. Most of the bouts at the time were promoted by Brian Dixon, husband of the German Champion Mitzi Mueller(from Oldham,Lancashire).Brian is still active in the promotions game to this day, along with the couples daughter who now acts as ring announcer, having had a short lived career following her mothers footsteps. As for the two girls featured here "Naughty"Nicky Monroe left the scene some time back, whereas Klondyke Kate only recently retired.
