THE EARLY 90's.

Image
The early ninety's brought some good wrestlers to the ring in the UK one of whom was Donna Marie Parsons who took her talents down under where in 2002 she was convicted of the murder of her husband and was sentenced to over twenty years with a sixteen year minimum. Is she out yet??Does anyone know??

STREETBEEFS MRS MUDD VS PSYCHO

Image
I don't know what the beef was but by the end it doesn't look like it was settled despite what looks like quite an age gap.

JUDO

If only??My ex started out in the world of judo and I have related before that had she been allowed to wear just a bra and pants under the heavy sweaty material of the Judoki(judo suit)she would probably have carried on in the sport. And viewing these girls I think I would have agreed.

VONDA WARD.

Image
Remember Vonda Ward the"All American Girl"at 6'6"/198cm she had stopped most of her opponents till she met Ann Wolfe a mere 5'9"/175cm also with a record of stopping her opponents and this happened.

Sophie Alisch vs Irma Balijagic Adler 02 11 2019 Full Fight Софи Алиш - ...

Image
Good to see the younger girls coming through in Europe, for too long the girls turning pro have been nearing the end of their careers. Latest in Germany is 18 years old Sophie Alisch from Berlin. This was her latest win against the experienced Irma Balijagic Adler almost twenty years older at thirty seven but also very experienced having more than once fought for world titles in her losing run of seven fights.

ONE TO WATCH.

Image
Currently rising through the amateur ranks is 18 years old World and Olympic Youth Lightweight Champ Caroline Dubois just named as the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year .At the moment she as her sights set on a place in Team GB for next summers Tokyo Olympics.Which would probably get a number of promoters lining up with cash offers to turn pro.

THE TWO SIDES OF SARAYA!!!

Image
The Sweet Saraya Knight is well known the world over as the ring mistress of the dark arts where often the ring is of little importance as quite often more of the action takes place outside the ropes. More recently the feature film"Fighting with my Family"as allowed fans to see her in a different light with interviews alongside husband Ricky and daughter Paige. Interesting is how fit Saraya(Julia Hamer) remains as she is I believe approaching her 50th birthday although there is often a great deal of doubt about some of the historical"fact"that goes with her. I'm not sure about her claim to have been born in Cornwall as I have a friend who went to senior school with her in West Yorkshire and she was working in the kitchens of a Pontins Holiday Camp in Norfolk when she met her husband, wrestler Rick Knight(Patrick Frary) around fifteen years her senior and after first being his valet/manager she made her debut as a wrestler against Nikki Best in 1993 who was

JUST A THOUGHT 92.

HARD TO BELIEVE. A film about love causes violence?? Well that's what it's Director Andrew Onwubolu would have us believe after mob violence involving about a hundred people erupted at a cinema in Birmingham where a number of police were hurt sorting things out,as a result the cinema as had the film Blue Story taken off at all its Vue Cinemas. So far five people have been arrested including a thirteen year old girl, one youth is even pictured carrying a machete. Whatever happened to the days when a visit to a cinema meant a fumble with the girl of your choice on the back row? Another one gone!!! I have recently featured a number of clips from You Tube put there by"Tech Guy"sadly he like myself and many others as fallen foul of the prudes and as been banished. Now I didn't see the offending clip before it was taken down surely a bare breast wasn't exposed!!!

Desta James VS Charlotte Showman

Image
From early doors this was looking like a miss match with Desta ducking to knee high before the ref's act of mercy saved her more punishment.

REASON WHY???

Catz Club UK set out with good intention to promote girl fights and after only few filming's left the scene.I have heard it said that one of the reason's was that the girls were expected to fight as opposed to wrestle. And like here very few could stand more than a few minutes of the real thing.

POOR KEVIN.

You could feel sorry for Kevin or maybe you envy him.
