How would the girls from Camp Amazon have competed in today's world?One who would doubtless have done well would have been Karen Arnold.

I have no doubt Karen Arnold was the best at Camp Amazon, the Skarvans could wrestle but both tended to weaken if her opponent was able to hurt her. Treena was great too but I think Karen was better. The Skarvans used to cheat and use the ropes, Susan and Cindy Brookes had an awesome brawl, Cindy seemed to want to wrestle but from the start Susan obviously wanted to fight and fight is what they did. Not a full on punch up but lots of pinching and finger twisting, very bitchy. In the end it was stopped because it was 'getting too rough' Both women's eyes were blazing! and Susan even said, 'I don't want to wrestle, I want to fight' Cindy seemed prepared to accommodate her but they weren't allowed to fight, probably wise as I'm sure fists were about to fly.
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've seen and learned about Judell DuLong and her fem wrestling enterprises, I could only say her team of fem wrestling participants would probably do extraordinarily well, even today.

She was an Amazing Individual along with all her dedicated participants.
