INFO PLEASE.

I have often wondered about these videos, they often start out with some quite good wrestling and then degenerate into stripping down and then lesbian scenes.
Anyone know the background to this outfit?

  1. No ... but I wholeheartedly agree with the verb you use if the event shifts over to any lezbo bullshit: degenerate.

It's an unfortunate dimension of a truly great sport that only proves stupidity and asinine behavior pop up whenever they have a chance and the morons who enjoy it prove there are always those who view their entertainment through their arseholes.

  2. Academy Productions started out doing strictly wrestling, on the mats and in the ring both. The videos usually were pretty good, the wrestling standard higher than anyone else since it was quality competition instead of just rolling around and making a few bad attempts at moves like other producers were doing. They would do nude, topless and dressed matches and each would be just as good.

Somewhere along the line, they got the idea of doing a match where the winner used a strap-on on the loser, and apparently it became their most popular series. In a sense, they are responsible for the popularity of outfits like Ultimate Surrender and the like these days, since SOAP (Strap-On Academy Productions, in case you were wondering what it stood for) did it first.

    1. Fully agree that Academy Productions (which I've bought from and will continue to do so) has a high standard of competitive excellence.

If that weren't the case, I wouldn't buy those products ...

... but whenever the lezbo crap appeared, I'd always end up editing the product and completely delete all that B.S. (so now I at least know what the acronym SOAP stood for ! ...)

  3. Academywrestling.com was owned by bruce, who passed away a few years ago, was one of the better producers in my opinion. The wrestling was competitive yet restrained(not a catfight) and the girls were well trained in techniques and holds.

Not all of its videos had nudity/lesbian scenes (just the ones with the SOAP and AX prefix). for example the ACA (and even the older WAR) series of videos were not nude and were pretty competitive and well made.

      Again ... fully agree.

  4. I was going to comment but I'll just second Vorloc's. He has said it all.
