Also released as The War Goddess,Amazons was another offering from the fight fans favourite director Terence Young the man who directed the gypsy fight in the Bond Classic From Russia With Love.Young featured girls fighting in a number of films,one of the first was The Poppy is also a Flower in 1965.
Thanks so much for this. There are a few versions here and there, but most are so dark you can't see anything. Glad you found a better copy. I saw this in a movie theatre when it came about. The only think you could hear during the two wrestling matches was the audience breathing. Deeply.
