THE VOTE IN FAVOUR!!!

The idea of boxing,even two men turns the stomach of many people in the U.K.so it's easy to understand their reaction to two women in the ring.

The case in favour is here,Jane Couch the Fleetwood Assassin in action some years back.Jane was almost a role model for many of today's ladettes,drinking,fighting and worse and then she channeled her anger into boxing and although falling just short of the top level she did command a great deal of respect.

There is a story still told today of an elderly lady who would have been horrified at the idea of a girl fighting,till the day she was being hassled by a group of yobs on Preston rail station at which point Jane intervened and said yobs beat a hasty retreat.

I believe Jane is still involved in the game as a promoter/manager somewhere in the South West of the U.K.
