FEMALE BOXING 2 - ULTIMATE FIGHTING - 2 ,LOS ANGELES

I realise that many fans don't like to see girls taking part in this kind of contest, but it does have an attraction for those in Europe because it seems unique to the U.S.
The nearest I have seen this side of the pond is fights on Irish Gypsy camps where the girls fight standing throughout,a girl going to ground to try and wrestle must stand up and continue the fist fight.
I don't know if it answers the oft asked question but there appear to be persons at least dressed as medics in this one.

Hmmmmmm ... yes, possibly, but I have seen similar events featured on DWW and featured in the news media on other sites over in Europe. If this particular style is unique to the U.S., it's not that unique (imho).

So of course you're aware that organized. normal female boxing (amateur or professional) in the U.S. does have its fan base of core support ( which I'm not a part of).

If the medics are for real that's an obvious good and decent factor much to the credit of the organizers and women. Add to that the cushioned helmets the women are wearing and at least these events are doing as much as possible to minimize injury (again, much to their credit).

... but all this still doesn't change the basic premise that pounding for a win (boxing) is inferior to pinning or submitting your opponent for a win (wrestling; judo; ground grappling; BJJ; etc.) both from a safety and skill aspect (again, imho).
