A Wish Granted.

I have mentioned before one of the guys who as worked for me had taken part in boxing in every form from being a pro in the ring to fighting for cash in fields etc.and one of the things he maintained was that it was safer to fight with bare knuckles and he couldn't understand why the girls didn't do it.

He'll be pleased to know that recently in the USA his wish was granted when Alma Garcia a boxer from Denver took on Bec Rawlings an MMA fighter from Australia.

The fight was I believe stopped in the second round with Miss Garcia having sustained a lot of damage to her face.

  1. So your ex-employee says, " ... that it was safer to fight with bare knuckles and he couldn't understand why the girls didn't do it. "

... and then you say, " The fight was I believe stopped in the second round with Miss Garcia having sustained a lot of damage to her face. "

So tell your ex-employee to come to these boards, read this and click here ...

Since your ex-employee was so involved in boxing and I try to have an open mind and consider all opinions, I'd be interested in knowing why in the hell he believes gloveless boxing is safer in general ... If you win on points, there's no point in going for submission (amateur or professional) and no point in risking a (greater) potential of broken bones or unnecessary damage (as apparently happened in the above case) to hands or face ...

So I'd be glad to hear from anyone why taking off the gloves (from a safety angle) is better ...

Separately ... these women are great examples of tattooing gone berserk ... They haven't just gone ballistic ... They look so damn sick (imho) they're good candidates for putting their hides through the meat grinder ...
