One for my friends Stateside,I thought these contests had ceased some years back so finding these was a bonus.Any more info would be more than welcome.

When this kicks off there are never enough cameras.
They're still around but not as widespread as they once were ... Some states over here in "Murkinland have enacted more regulatory requirements for the promoters and/or participants ... These would include higher insurance liability requirements, more stringent medical waivers for the participants in addition to higher costs for third party revenue generators [translation: higher costs for the cable or satellite providers to provide programming which in turn (because of passing on the higher costs to the home viewing audience) curtail the in-home viewing audience numbers] ...
